We’ve long sung the praises of the Mozy backup service. While we’re not going to stop doing so, heck it’s tough to beat unlimited online backup space for less than $5 a month. Let’s face it, in todays business climate we’re doing TrialOfferGuide.com readers a disservice not pointing out that it’s a good idea to have a backup to your backup service.

It’s important to be clear, we don’t believe there is any issue with the Mozy Service. But since we’re backing up data to protect against loss of vital business documents or priceless family images. We might as well take the process to the correct level of safety and have two offsite backups.

Enter ElephantDrive a service very much like Mozy. ElephantDrive provides a downloadable application which automates the process of backing up files from your computer. Elephant drive, as the name implies, also provides unlimited space for the home or business user. The monthly subscription of $4.95 provides an equally impressive value to the Mozy @Home offering. You can also lower your monthly expense by paying a yearly subscription fee of $49.95, which is $4.16 per month which is comparable to the Mozy pricing with the Mozy Promotional Code we publish each month.

If you’ve not already signed up with Mozy or you’re like us and need to feel extra secure in being able to retrieve your files, there is a 14 day Elephant Drive free trial offer we strongly recommend you check out.

The Lumosity brain exercises are not really games, although they are fun, they are designed to create activity in your brain that may help prevent or delay the onset of diseases like Alzheimer’s.

According to the Alzheimer’s Prevention website:

Mental exercise has been reported by neurologists to reduce your chance of developing Alzheimer’s disease by 70 percent. Everyone should spend at least 20 minutes, 3 times a week, doing mental exercise.

At some point we all need to find someone to care for the people and things we love. The worry is have we made the right choice?

Is that babysitter really qualified? How do I know my parent is being cared for by a trained professional? Who do I trust with the keys to my home? What about rover… will he be walked and fed as if I were there?

In the past when I, my friends and co-workers needed to find one of these important but often to hastily chosen care givers we resorted to placing or responding to blind ads in a local newspaper. Often even if we had the time to interview these people, do you really want them to come into your home? What if they are just looking to ‘case’ your house and learn your schedule. I shudder to think how close many of us have come to disaster.
