Microsoft has formally launched Office Live, a combination of two of their flagship offerings. Microsoft Office and Live.com their new slimmed down Google-like search engine.
In an attempt to ease the burden of small business owners managing the infrastructure of required to operate online. The Microsoft Office Live, provides all the basics required to go from bricks and mortar to clicks and hits. The program offers free webhosting, free custom domain name and 100 custom email addresses for the 1st year. Small businesses that participate also get $100 in ad credits to be used on Microsoft, MSN and Live.com properties.
