This is a little different. At first glance you think it must be some kind of scam. And with all the “work at home” scams out there it’s good to be wary. Here is the self written description of the freelance site:
Go Freelance is a growing online community for freelance professionals and companies looking to hire skilled freelance experts. We have thousands of freelance and work-at-home jobs in the U.S. and worldwide.
So, how is this different from the thousands of job sites? There is no charge for employers to post jobs. This means smaller companies who need someone to do small jobs are willing to post their offers. Since the potential employees are paying a membership fee the company knows you’re serious and dedicated to doing the work.
It’s an interesting twist on how things normally work. And sometimes a twist is what makes things work better. The trial offer is for 7 days and costs less than $3. When I signed up there were several jobs for writers and a few for web design. Although the site has something of a ‘get rich quick’ feel to it, it has some good potential.

If you’re reading this at 2am, you’re probably an insomniac. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, I’m one too. Even with the best of intentions I just can’t get to sleep before 3 or 4 am. It doesn’t matter how drowsy I am at 6pm, by the time 10 or 11pm comes rolling around I’m wide awake. Lying in bed used to help, I could eventually fall asleep, but not any longer. I find my self spending hour after hour tossing and turning my mind racing through the days events or planning tomorrow.
We’ve all seen those commercials about prescription sleep remedies. I am old enough to remember the stories of addiction to sleeping pills in the ’70’s. Even though these sleeping aids are supposed to be non-habit forming… no thanks! The little disclaimer at the end of the commercial is enough for me, ‘Cases of driving a vehicle while asleep have been reported’. Yeah, that sounds perfectly safe!
